Developed by Pause Projects, Riverhouse Cepaka has been carefully conceived around the existing landscape. Rather than reshaping the site, the architecture responds to the natural contours of the land, preserving the mature canopy and allowing the surrounding environment to remain the defining feature of the experience.

Inspired by traditional Balinese compounds, the residence is composed of a collection of interconnected pavilions. A central living space opens entirely to the landscape, while four private bedroom suites are positioned throughout the estate, each enjoying its own unique relationship to the river, forest, and surrounding valley.

Natural materials including Bengkirai timber, traditional Sirap shingles, and hand-finished Paras Tulungagung stone were selected for their authenticity, longevity, and connection to local craftsmanship, ensuring the architecture ages gracefully within its environment.
